In Tune

For the moments when you need to be dialed in and at the top of your game, turn to InTune.

Formulated with earthy and uplifting essential oils that are known to create a calming environment, In Tune is an excellent addition to school or work spaces.

Pro Tip: this blend is not diluted with carrier oil. That means it is very, very potent. You can make it last longer by diluting it with some Fractionated Coconut Oil. I suggest that you buy an extra roller bottle and a pipette. Dispense half the essential oil into the second bottle, and fill both bottles with the carrier oil. Keep one bottle at home and send the other to school or keep it at your workplace.

What Oils Are In In Tune?

Amyris
Often referred to as West Indian sandalwood, Amyris comes from Haiti and Central America. Amyris essential oil is known for its warm, woody, and slightly sweet aroma. Like all wood oils, Amyris is calming and grounding.

Patchouli
Patchouli is a bushy herb from the mint family. Known for its rich and musky sweet fragrance, Patchouli oil offers a balanced, calming, equanimous atmosphere.

Frankincense
There is a saying about Frankincense: "When in doubt, use Frankincense!" Frankincense has been used for millennia in meditation for its relaxing and harmonious effects. It is also an enhancing essential oil: it enhances the effects of other oils.

Lime
Lime essential oil comes from the rinds of Key lime fruits, which have an especially zesty fragrance compared to other limes. Lime essential oil is refreshing and energizing in both aroma and taste.

Ylang Ylang
Ylang Ylang oil is derived from the star-shaped flowers of the tropical ylang ylang tree.
Ylang Ylang oil creates a calm, positive atmosphere.

Roman Chamomile
Nicknamed the “plant’s physician” for its positive effects on nearby flora, Ancient Roman soldiers used it to promote courage during war.

Story Time!

When dōTERRA released the In Tune blend, I was VERY excited to try it. I had already been using Vetiver, Balance and Serenity on my son at bedtime every night, and the effects were fantastic. He slept well, and woke up refreshed. The calming effects seemed to last about 20 hours -- we all knew what the symptoms of his restless mind were like, so we recognized the hyper behaviour when it came back.

At the time, I had three teenage boys who were VERY cranky in the morning. I decided that I would use In Tune on their feet when I woke them each day. Well, that one little thing really changed our mornings! They were in a much better mood when they headed out for school. (I also used it on my hubby for good measure, to make sure he started the day in a good mood too!)

Now, the boy who had the most trouble paying attention in school was in Grade 12 at the time and was really struggling in an Advanced Math course. Of course he didn't tell us he was failing until very close to the end of the semester! As any mom would, I jumped into action. I found a tutor who coached him for a few weeks and helped him review and understand all the material. As he went into the last week or two of the course, he had two big hurdles to complete: a Summative project and an exam. As I dropped him off the day of the Summative, I rolled some In Tune on his spine and sent him in. He was SUPER EXCITED to get the results of that because he got 94%!! The day of the exam the following week, however, I forgot the In Tune at home so he didn't get that extra boost. Sadly, he got only 54% in the exam... he was so disappointed in himself, and I felt terrible for him. I always think to myself that the outcome would have been different if I had remembered the oil that day. He still passed the course, but unfortunately he did not get a mark that reflected his true grasp of the subject.

Do I think that In Tune helps with focus? Yes I do!! This experience absolutely proved it to me.
