The Introductory Trio Pack

Thanks for purchasing an Introductory Trio Pack! On this page you will find tips on how to use the three oils in your kit. Sometimes this kit will include Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint, but sometimes you may have purchased an upgraded kit that includes a bottle of On Guard or a bottle of Balance instead of Lemon. You will find ideas for using all five of these oils below. 

Lavender

Lavender is all things calming, and is one of the gentlest and most versatile essential oils. Here are some simple ways you can use your bottle of Lavender oil: 

  • Apply to the bottoms of feet, wrists or forearms before sleeping. 
  • Add a few drops to a little liquid soap and add to your bath for a relaxing, spa-like bathing experience. 
  • Lightly apply to soothe sun-exposed skin. 
  • Apply to the back or feet of a restless or agitated child (dilute with carrier oil for sensitive skin). 
  • Use to calm and soothe occasional skin irritations. 
  • Calm sensitive skin and soothe pores after hair removal. 
  • Apply with a carrier oil to help soothe dry skin. 
  • Use with Peppermint for a healthy scalp massage. 
  • Add to lotion for a stress-relieving hand massage. 
  • Take internally one drop Lavender with one drop each Lemon and Peppermint to soothe temporary reactions to pollen and dander.
  • Gently apply to skin damaged by heat. 

Peppermint

Peppermint is one of the best-loved essential oils for its invigorating aroma and delicious flavour. Here are some simple ways you can use your bottle of Peppermint oil: 

  • Take a drop internally to calm occasional indigestion or upset stomach. 
  • Use with Lemon in water for a healthy, refreshing mouth rinse. 
  • Diffuse aromatically or apply topically for an invigorating, energizing aroma. 
  • Add to a cold water compress or foot bath to cool off when overheated. 
  • Inhale as an invigorating pick-me-up on long drives. 
  • Add to shampoo and conditioner for a stimulating hair and scalp massage. 
  • Take in a veggie cap to promote healthy respiratory function and clear breathing. 
  • Diffuse during study time to enhance focus and concentration. 
  • Apply topically to stiff and sore muscles for a cooling, soothing sensation. 
  • Apply to back of neck and hairline to help with temporary head tension.
  • Add a few drops to brownie batter or icing, to add a delicious complementary flavour. 
  • Add a drop to hot water to make tea, or to hot chocolate to inject additional flavour. 

Lemon

Lemon is a wonderful cleansing essential oil. Here are some simple ideas for how you can use your bottle of Lemon essential oil: 

  • Add a drop to your water bottle, or to water served at a restaurant. 
  • Diffuse aromatically or apply topically for an uplifting aromatic experience. 
  • Add to a small amount of honey and take internally to soothe the throat. 
  • Dilute with coconut oil and use as a fingernail conditioner.
  • Add a drop of Lemon and Peppermint to your toothbrush after use. 
  • Diffuse in a room to neutralize unpleasant odours. 
  • Remove gum, label adhesives and greasy substances from fabric. 
  • Remove gum from hair or fur. 
  • Use to clean kitchen counters and stainless steel appliances. 
  • Add a few drops to your dishwasher as a natural alternative to chemical rinse aids, to prevent water spots on glassware.
  • Add to olive oil for a non-toxic furniture polish. 
  • Add a few drops to cake batter or icing for a delicious flavour boost. 

On Guard

On Guard is an immune boosting powerhouse! Here are a few simple ways you can use your bottle of On Guard: 

  • Apply to the bottoms of your feet every day to give your immune system a boost. 
  • Diffuse in your home to maintain a beautiful, healthy aroma. 
  • Use to clean counters and other surfaces in the home. 
  • Add a drop to a small amount of water and gargle to soothe the throat. 
  • Use a drop to flavour chocolate treats or hot chocolate. 
  • Use to clean stainless steel appliances. 
  • Add a drop to your toothbrush after each use. 
  • Add a drop to dishwater to boost the grease-cutting and cleansing properties of the soap. 
  • Add a drop to hot water to make a soothing tea; sweeten with a little honey if desired. 
  • Take 1-2 drops in a veggie cap to assist with seasonal threats. 

Balance

This blend is amazing in promoting a calm and relaxed feeling! It's known to help ease anxious feelings and evoke feelings of tranquility and balance! It’s very grounding. Here are a few ways you can use Balance every day. 
  • Apply to the back of your neck and rub into your shoulders to help release tension and support relaxation.
  • Add a drop of Balance to unscented lotion and massage into hands, forearms and feet to promote relaxation. 
  • Put a drop or two in your palm, rub together and inhale deeply to reduce emotional tension. 
  • Diffuse in your home to create a peaceful atmosphere. 
  • Add a few drops of Balance to unscented liquid soap, and add to your bath for a relaxing soak in the tub.  
  • Take your bottle of Balance to your massage therapist and ask them to use a few drops in your massage.
  • Apply a few drops of Balance to your wrists, forearms and over the heart before a yoga class or meditation session.
