The Gifts of Spring

Now that winter is on its way out, it's time to clean out winter's dust and gloom, and let the sunshine in! HOWEVER, sometimes spring brings some not-so-nice "gifts"!

One of the not-so-nice things that spring may bring is seasonal allergies. I know people who experience reactions to snow mould -- a fungus that appears when the snow melts. As for me, I get itchy eyes and start sneezing when the birch, poplar, willow and aspen trees bloom. Maybe you have spring-time allergies to something completely different.

Luckily, there is an oil for ALL that spring brings! Do you know this simple remedy? It's one of the first recipes that I ever learned, and wow does it ever work fast! Best of all, there are NO bad side effects. It will not make you drowsy, dopey, or unable to drive your car. It works at ANY time of the year, by the way.

You can either make up each "shot" as needed, OR use an empty 15 mL bottle and create a blend using equal parts of the three oils. (That way, you only need to open ONE bottle instead of three, each time you make it. Plus, it makes it easy to use as a diffuser blend during allergy season.)

Until you know this recipe, it's not obvious, but dōTERRA actually sells this remedy in a softgel format! That's what Triease is. The "tri" part of the name refers to the three oils in the recipe, and the "ease" part of the name refers to the easing of allergy symptoms.

The softgels are available from the US market, and are especially convenient if you need relief in a scent-free environment, or if you don't like the taste of the home-made version.

Make sure that you have these three oils -- or Triease -- on hand BEFORE you need them.
