Most of the time, I use Fractionated Coconut Oil in my blends, because it's a light, unscented carrier oil that absorbs well and doesn't stain. However, there are numerous other carrier oils that we can use with our essential oils, and each one has its own unique properties. When purchasing carrier oils, make sure that you check expiry dates carefully. Some carrier oils oxidize rather quickly, so choose the bottle that has the longest expiry.
Also, a word to the wise: Fractionated Coconut Oil is also called MCT oil.
