Feeling Anxious?

If, like me, you find the news these days very unsettling, here are a few suggestions for oils that can help calm the nerves and help us all feel better.

As always there are three ways to use essential oils: topically, aromatically, and (for select essential oils) internally. When using essential oils for emotional purposes, aromatic and topical uses work best. These methods include applying to pulse points, to the soles of the feet, back of the neck or over the heart; adding to bath water or a foot soak; using as a pillow spray; diffusing in an electronic diffuser; dropping onto carpet or other fabric surface; or any other method where you will be smelling the beautiful aroma!

Balance: If you know me, you know how I love Balance! My favourite way to use it is on the back of my neck, but you can apply it wherever you want. It is a soothing blend of Black Spruce, Ho Leaf, Frankincense, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, and Osmanthus. Melt away tension with Balance!

Lavender: Probably the best known essential oil in the world, Lavender is beloved for its calming effect. Open the bottle and sniff, diffuse it, or apply topically however you like.

Serenity: I call this blend Lavender on steroids! It's made up of all the most calming essential oils: Lavender, Cedarwood, Coriander, Ylang Ylang, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver, Sandalwood Tonka Bean and Vanilla. It also comes in several different delivery systems: pure essential oil, a melt-on stick, and even a supplement form. Relax to the max!

Adaptiv: This blend is another serious relaxation blend, made of Lavender, Copaiba, Spearmint, Wild Orange, Neroli, Magnolia, Rosemary, and Sweetgum essential oils. Specifically created to address anxious feelings, it comes as a pure essential oil, a pre-diluted roll-on, and in a supplement form. It's known for stimulating a "relaxed and alert" frame of mind.

Which one of these do you love the most? I'd love to hear from you!
